The South Sound BBQ Festival took place on Saturday, July 5 in Lacey, and a restaurant known for its Irish fair, and not BBQ, was voted number 1 by the people who attended.
McNamara’s Pub & Eatery, which opened in DuPont, Washington in 2009, attended the event and entered their Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich, which took first place for Voter’s Choice at the South Sound BBQ Festival. Their Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich is on their menu as a happy hour slider.
The next time you’re craving a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, this is a reminder that there’s an awarding winning pulled pork sandwich closer to you than you think. Congratulations to McNamara’s Pub & Eatery on this award! The people have spoken!
